Category & Course Details:
Category A (Class XI, XII) - Studying in Class 11th & 12th Classes in Govt. and Govt Aided School / Institution.
Category B (ITI Course)- Studying in Govt. & Govt. Aided or Private ITIs.
Category C (UG) - Studying in Graduate Level Course (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BFA, BCA, BBA, BBM, Bachelor of Business Economics / Finance, B.Sc (Ag), BVSC, Environmental Scientist, Environmental Journalist, Hospitality Course, Micro Biology, Forensic Science & Social Work.
Category C (PG) - Studying in Post Graduate level courses like MA, M.Phil, M.Com, M.Lib (Science), MBA, Master of Business Economics / Finance / Human Resource Management / International Business, M.Sc, MVSc, M.Sc (Ag.), MCA, Organic Agriculture, Solar Energy, Rural / Urban Management, Environmental Scientist, Environmental Engineering and Environmental Journalist, Hospitality, Micro-Biology, Forensic Sciences and Social Work.
Group D (Diploma Course) - Studying in Diploma Course in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical, Automobile Tech, Machine Tool Tech, Metallurgy, Electronics, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Scientist, Environmental Engineer and Environmental Journalist, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy.
Category E (UG Engineering & Medicine) Course - Graduate Engineering Courses including Architecture and Medicine Course including Naturopathy, MBBS, Dental, B.Pharma, Homeopathy, Ayurveda.
Category E (PG Engineering & Medicine) Course - Post Graduate Engineering & Medicine Courses including Homeopathy, Naturopathy, M.Pharma, Surgery (excluding MDS).              

Eligibility Criteria:

Group A - Students must have passed Class 10th with minimum 65% Marks (for Boys) & 60% marks (for Girls) for Other State candidates / 80% marks (Boys) & 75% marks (Girls) for candidates belonging Karnataka and West Bengal State.
Group B - Applicant must have pass marks in previous qualifying examination for Govt. & Govt. Aided ITIs / 50% Marks (for Boys) & 40% Marks (for Girls) in Private ITIs. 
Group C (UG Course) - Students must have passed Class 12th with Minimum 70% marks (for Boys) & 65% Marks (Girls) for Other State candidates or Students of Karnataka & West Bengal State minimum 80% marks (for Boys) / 75% marks (for Girls) Students.
Group C (PG Course) - Students must have passed Undergraduate level course with minimum 70% marks (for Boys) / 65% marks (for Girls) for Other State Candidates or Students of Kaarnataka & West Bengal State minimum 75% marks (for Boys) / 70% marks (for Girls).  
Group D (Diploma Course) - Students must have 60% marks (for Boys) / 55% marks (for Girls) Students in previous qualifying examination for All India students.
Group E (UG & PG Engineering and Medicine Course) - Students must have 70% marks (Boys) / 65% marks (Girls) for Other State candidates in Previous qualifying examination or Students belongs to Karnataka & West Bengal State must have 75% marks (for Boys) / 70% marks (for Girls) candidates. 

Scholarship Amount:
Category A (Class 11th & 12th Course) - Rs.500 per months.
Category B (ITI Course) - Rs.500 per months for Government & Government Aided ITIs / Rs.700 per months for Private ITIs.
Category C (Under Graduate Course) - Rs.800 per months for Girls & PwD Students / Rs.600 per months for Boys students / Rs.1000 per months for Widows or unmarried ward of Ex-serviceman students.
Category C (Post Graduate Course) - Rs.1000 per months for Girls & PH students / Rs.800 per months for Boys students / Rs. 1200 per months for Widows or unmarried wards of Ex-Serviceman.
Category D (Diploma Course) - Rs.1000 per months for Girls students / Rs.800 per months for Boys students.
Category E (Under Graduate Engineering & Medicine Course) - Rs.1300 per months for Boys students / Rs.1500 per months for Girls students.
Category E (Post Graduate Engineering & Medicine Course) - Rs.2000 per months for Boys students / Rs.1800 per months for Girls students. 
Hosteler Students - Rs.500 per months for Hosteler of ITI, Diploma, Graduation & Post Graduation level course / Rs.1000 per months for Medical & Engineering level course.

Annual Family Income:
For Category A & B Candidates - Certified photocopy of BPL Card or Income Certificate of family income on per annum basic should be submitted with the application form . Income certificate is not required from orphans who will have to submit death certificate of his / her parents.
For Category C, D & E - For those employment - not more than Rs.4 lakh per year (certificate issued by employer).
For all other candidates not more than  Rs.2.50 lakhs per year.
Income certificate issued by Patwari, BDO, Revenue Officer, any Gazetted Officer, any Retired IAS, IPS or Class I Central Govt. Officer, Sarpanch / Gram Pradhan / President of Village Panchayat.

Condition of Scholarship :
Maximum age limit for getting Scholarship is 30 years.
Minimum 1 year course candidates can apply for Scholarship.
Students should not getting any Others Stipend / Scholarship.
A student apply for only 1 course scholarship in the duration of course.
Engineering, Medical, and MBA Students should submit a certified duly signed by the Head of the Institution that the student got admission on merit as received from the competent authority and not on payment yet.
Scholarship will be admissible for all Government, Government Aided Schools, Colleges / Institute and those private schools, College / Institute where exorbitant fee is not charged from the students.  
For 3 year or longer duration course , application will not be entertained from the final year students.

Documents with Application:
Copies of the following certificates issued by the competent authority and duly attested by the Head of the Institution / Principal / Authorized Professor or Lecturer should also be submitted with the application -
Photocopy of SSLC / HSC / Class 10th Mark Sheet.
Photocopy of Last Examination passed.
Photocopy of merit certificate as per Annexure-VII (in case of Engineering, Medical, Diploma & MBA Students).
Photocopy of certificate regarding fees paid as per Annexure-VIII (in case of course other than Engineering, Medical, Diploma and MBA).
For hostelers, a certificate from the warden or owner of private accommodation as per Annexure-IV or Annexure-IX as applicable download from website.
For physically challenged, certificate from competent authority.
For widows and Ex serviceman- PPO, Ex-serviceman Widow I Card, Relationship Dependency Certificate.
Family income certificate (BPL Card / BDO / Patwari / Revenue Officer / Any gazetted Officer etc.).
Engineering, Medical and MBA students should submit a certificate duly signed by the Head of the Institution that the student got admission on merit as received from the competent authority and not on payment seat.
