Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Scholarship 2019 to Meritorious SC / ST Students pursuing Professional Courses in Engineering, Medical Stream and Masters Degree Courses in Business Administration, Geology and Geophysics. Age limit - Maximum 30 years.
Educational Qualification - 60% in HS(Engineering & MBBS) / Graduation (MBA, Geophysics etc)

Distribution of Scholarship (Stream wise) :
Engineering (4 years Course) - 494 Scholarships holders
MBBS (4 Years Course) - 90 Scholarship holders
MBA (2 Years Course) - 146 Scholarships holders
Master in Geology / Geophysics (2 Years Course) - 270 Scholarship holders.

Distribution of Scholarship (Zone wise) :
North Zone (200 Scholarships) - J&K, Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarkhand, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh.
West Zone (200 Scholarships) - Maharastra, Dadar & Nagar haveli, Gujrat, Daman & Diu, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Goa.
North-East Zone (200 Scholarships) - Assam, Sikkim, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura.
East Zone - Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chattisgarh, West Bengal.
South Zone (200 Scholarsips) - Tamil nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Pudduchery, Lakshdweep, Andaman & Nicobar Island.

Required Document with Application:
i. Caste Certificated (Certified translated copy in Hindi / English is to be enclosed, if the Caste certificate has been issued in any other language).
ii. Proof of Age (Copy of Proof for Date of Birth to be enclosed - 10th class mark sheet / Birth certificate).
iii. Educational Qualification certificated / mark sheet.
iv. Annual income certificate of family (Certified translated copy in Hindi / English is to be enclosed if the annual income certificate has been issued in any other language).
v. Bank Details in the ECS form (In the Prescribed format given hereinafter, Annexure B)
vi. Copy of PAN card (in case pan card is not available, the tentative date for submission of PAN card may be mentioned).

Eligibility Criteria:
A. Candidates must ensure that he / she should be belongs to be SC / ST caste.
B. The scholarship are open for studies in India and for Indian nationals only.
C. Candidates should be a student of 1st year of Graduate Engineering or MBBS courses or 1st year of Masters Degree in Geology / Geophysics or MBA. The scholarship shall be admissible only for pursuing full time regular courses by AICTE / MCI / UGC / Association of Indian Universities / State Education Board / State Government / Central Government.
C. Students pursuing four years Engineering / MBBS courses/ Two years Masters course in Business Administration & Two (2) years Masters Degree in Geology / Geophysics are eligible.  
D. Candidate should have obtained minimum 60% marks in 12th class for Engineering and MBBS disciplines. Similarly 60% marks are necessary in Graduation for P.G courses i.e. Geology / Geophysics / MBA. Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA / CGPA) of minimum 6.0 in 10 points scale of Grading system.
E. The specific zone where a student can apply for scholarship shall be decided on the basic of the location of University / College / Institute in which the student was studying for the qualifying examination (i.e. 12th class for Graduate courses and Graduation degree for Post Graduate courses) irrespective of the domicile of the student.
F. Gross annual income of family of the candidate from all sources should not be more than Rs.4.50 lakhs per annum (i.e Rs.37500 per months).
G. The age limit of the applicant is maximum 30 years as on 1st November 2018 for the Academic session.
H. The candidates should not be availing or intend to avail any other financial assistance / scholarship from any other source. However in case of student getting fee waiver / reimbursement of tuition fees from any of the State Government are eligible for applying for the scholarship.
I. The continuation of scholarship once awarded shall be subject to satisfactory performance in each year's annual examination and conduct of the candidate. Scholarship shall not be paid for the year where the student fails to maintain the scale or secure less than 50% in the examination, as the case may be.
J. The award of the scholarship shall not confer any right of employment with ONGC group of companies or its joint ventures.

Important Information:
Before applying followed the Official Advertisement carefully.
The students already getting ONGC Scholarship prior to revision of scholarship will not be eligible for this revised scholarship.
Closing date of receiving applications on 21st January 2019.
The final list of the scholarship beneficiaries with ONGC group of companies or its joint ventures.
The scholarship will be paid on annual basic only. The continuation of Scholarship, once awarded should be subject to the satisfactory conduct and performance of the candidate in their examinations on Annual / Semester basic every year. The Scholarship shall not be paid for the year the student fails to maintain the scale of 5 points minimum out of 10 points of CGPA / OGPA or secures less than 50% in the Annual / Semester examination. Further, the scholarship shall be terminated in the event of a student failing to pass in one additional attempt with the above said percentage of marks / CGPA / OGPA.
