Scheme & Syllabus:
Candidates shall have appear at a Written Examination of 150 marks ( Part-I 120 Marks and part-II 30 Marks), duration of the Written examination will be 90 minutes. Those candidates have shortlisted in Part-I Exam he / she was appeared for Part-II examination. Candidates have to mark answer in respective of MCQ Objective Type of Part-I in one side of OMR Answer Sheet, whereas they shall have to write the descriptive question pertaining to part-II on reserve side of the OMR in the space allocated for that purpose. The standard for written examination shall be similer to that of Madhyamik Examination or Higher Secondary Examination
Part-I Exam - will consist of Multiple Choice Objective type, there will be 120 questions carrying 1 mark each, There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Syllabus for Part-I Examination is -
General Knowledge - 40 marks.
English - 40 marks.
Mathematics & Reasoning - 40 marks.
Part-II Exam - will consist of a single descriptive type question (Writing of a precis from a given English passage). Candidates must secure qualifying marks fixed by the commission in the Part-I and Part-II. Syllabus for Part-II Examination -English Precis Writing - 30 marks.

Process for Downloading Admit card for KPS Exam 2017:
Visit Commissioned website of WBSSC- www.wbssc.gov.in or Direct link.
Click on Download Admit Card.
Applicant going on User Login page.
Then submit Registration No & Date of Birth.
Verify & Enter.
Admit Card showing on Display.
Take a Print out copy of E Admit Card / hall Ticket.
Candidates must bring Photo Identity card recognized by the Government. in order to get entrance into the examination venue to prove their identity.

Candidates must bring Photo Identity Card in examination hall ( Voter ID / Passport / Aadhar card / Admit Card or Certificated of Madhyamik Exam / Pan Card / Driving License etc).
