Online Applications are invited for admission to First year of 5 year integrated Bachelor of Arts Law Honours Course Admission for the session 2017-2018. North Bengal University (NBU):
The University of North Bengal was establishment by act of the legislature of West Bengal in 1962 and assigned the mandate of providing teaching, training and research in various branches of advanced learning, and promoting the dissemination of knowledge to fulfil growing socio-economics and technical manpower needs in the six North Bengal district and the neighbouring state of Sikkim. The campus occupies an area of about 330 acres 9 Km outside Siliguri and Bagdogra Airport in the tarai region of Darjeeling district. The University Act was revised under West Bengal Act of XXV of 1981 and it came into force with effect from September 16, 1981. The University is re-accredited by NAAC as B++.

Age Limit:
Applicant required age should be 20 years for General category and 22 years for SC / ST and 25 years for PWD candidates as on 1st July 2016.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognised Board and who have obtained 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent qualifying exam (PWD, SC / ST candidates may be eligible to apply if they have secured at least 50% marks).

Application Fee:
Applicant required to pay Application Fee of Rs.150 (Rs.75 for SC/ ST candidates) at the time of Online Application. Application fee is paid through Online SBI portal - www.onlinesbi.com. No other payment mode is acceptable.
