Admission & Reservation :

An All India Merit List of the Qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basic of the marks obtained in the National Eligibility Entrance Test and candidates shall be admitted to MBBS / BDS Course from the said list only by following the already reservation policy. CBSE will provide All India Rank, Admitting authorities will invite applications for Counselling and Merit List shall be drawn based o All India Rank, Admission to MBBS / BDS Courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility Test.

NEET RESULT 2016 & Post Examination Activities and Declaration of Result

Display of OMR Sheets and Response on Website :
The CBSE will display the images of OMR Answer Sheets and Responses graded by the Machine of all the candidates on the website The OMR answer sheets are likely to be displayed from 4th August to 6th August 2016. For expat date , candidates may remain in touch with website.
Candidates will be given an opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading on payment of RS.1000 per Response challenged. Rs.1000/ per Response will be refunded to candidate if His / her challenged is accepted by the Board.
All candidates are advised to remain in touch with the website for viewing and downloading of his / her answer sheet and responses captured by the machine.

Display of Answer Key for Challenge :
The CNSE will display answer key of the questions giving opportunity to the candidates to challenge in case on any ambiguity in the answer on the website The answer keys are likely to be displayed from 7th August to 9th August 2016. For exact date, candidates may remain in touch with website.

Declaration of Result :
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conducted the NEET-2016 Examination, evaluate the Answer Sheets and the Result will be hosted on the website Exact date of declaration of result will be intimated through website. The CBSE will prepare the merit list / waiting list as per the directives of the Honorable Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DSCI.
No Category wise result sheet will be prepared. As soon as the result is ready, CBSE will host the results on the website and thereafter candidates may download the Result Sheets.
All Candidates appearing in NEET 2016 Examination must remain in touch with the website of CBSE, MOHFW, Medical Counselling Committee ( and participating States / University / Institution till conclusion of final round of counselling.
