Vacancy in Technical Assistant Posts (total 99 Posts) under General Central Civil Service Group B (Non Gazetted, Non Ministerial) Posts in National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO). Stream wise & category wise vacancy is given below.
Electronics - Total 60 Posts (UR 28, SC 13, ST 5, OBC 14).
Computer Science -Total 39 posts (UR 18, SC 8, ST 4, OBC 9).
Upper age limit of candidates should not exceeding 30 years.
Upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other backward Category (OBC), Person with Disability (PWD) and other special category candidates as per instructions issued by the Central Government.
Electronics - Bachelor Degree in Science with Mathematics or Physics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or 3 years Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Electronics / Communication / Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication / Electronics & Telecommunication from a recognized Institute and having working knowledge of computer.
Computer Science - Bachelor Degree in Science with mathematics or Physics as one of the subject from a recognized university or Bachelor Degree in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute or 3 years Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Computer / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Computer Science & Information Technology / Information Technology from a recognized Institute and having working knowledge of Computer.
The Government has dispensed with interviews for Junior Level Posts. Accordingly, recruitment to the post of Technical Assistant will be made through Written examination in Computer Based mode.
candidates will be shortlisted for Computer Based Examination based on the percentage of marks in essential qualification as indicated by them during online application / registration. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ration of 1:50 (50 candidates for every vacancies).
Final Merit list will be drawn on the basic of performance in Computer Based Examination. This organisation will have the full discretion to fix separate minimum qualifying marks in computer based examination for each category of candidates (UR / SC / ST / OBC / PWD) as the case may be. In case two or more candidates secure same marks in the computer based examination, the tie will be resolved by the following manner -
On the basic of date of birth with the older candidate being pl;aced in higher in merit.
Alphabetical order of names (as mentioned during online application/ registration) of the candidates.
Scheme of Examination:
There will be Computer Based Examination consisting of Objective / Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and the details of subject, marks and number of questions, duration of examination are given below -
Electronics - 100 question (400 marks) & 2 Hours Duration - General Science Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning and Concerned Subject / Stream (Electronics).
Computer Science - 100 question (400 marks) & 2 Hours duration - General Science Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning and concerned subjects / stream (Computer Science).
There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answers.

Upload scanning document of Photograph (between 20 kb to 40 kb), Signature (between 10 kb to 20 kb), Matriculation / 10th certificate (between 120 kb to 150 kb), Final Pass mark Sheet of Essential Qualification (betwen 120 kb to 150 kb), SC / ST / OBC / PWD Certificate (between 120 kb to 150 kb) if applicable, Central Government Civilian Employees (between 120 kb to 150 kb) if applicable.
