Details of Posts & Vacancy:
WB Health & Family Welfare Samity Recruitment under South 24 Parganas District for 8 Post of Block Asha Facilitator. Thee engagement will be on contractual purely on temporary basic, for a period of One (1) years renewable based on performance & budgetary sanction. Details of Vacancy is given below -
1. For Diamond Harboour Sub Division (Diamond Harbour-I, Diamond Harboour-II, Magrahat-I, Mathurapur-I & Mathurapur-II Block) - Total6 Posts (UR 4, SC 1, ST 1).
2. For Kakdwip Sub Division (Pathar Protima & Sagar Block) - Total 2 Posts (UR 1, ST 1).

Monthly Remuneration:
Selected candidates will be given monthly remuneration of RS.7500 and Rs.1500 (for Mobility Support).

Age Limit:
Candidates upper age limit should not be more than 40 years as on 1st January 2017. Relaxation of age limit should be applicable for SC / ST candidates up to 5 years, OBC candidates up to 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria:
1.Candidates minimum having Master Degree in Social Science / Sociology / Social Anthropology / Social Work (MSW) / Business Administration (MBA) / Economics / Rural Development / Mass Communication or Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 2 years experience in health project.
2.Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in ASHA Programme.
3.Knowledge in MS Office & Internet.
4. Ability to communicate effectively.
5. Should be a resident of the same Sub Division where he / she is applying.
6. Ability to work Hard.
7. Willing to travel extensively.

Mode of Selection:
The selection will be strictly based on merit and experience in health projects, along with marks obtained by the candidates in the written test and computer skill test.
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be called for a written examination and Computer Skill Test and Admit Card for Written Examination and Computer Skill Test, indicating date, time and venue will be issued.

Application Fees:
Demand Draft of Rs.100 for Unreserved category & Rs.50 for Reserved category (SC, ST, OBC) to be issued from any nationalized Bank in favour of "Member Secretary District Health & Family Welfare Samity Diamond Harbour Health District" payable at Service Branch, which must be enclosed with the application. Otherwise the application will be treated as cancelled. Use of Stapler pin or stitching in case of Demand Draft, will not be allowed. The Demand Draft is non refundable.

Candidates should it fill up the application form his / her own hand writing in English with Blue or Black Ball Point Pen only. Candidates should send their application sufficiently in advanced to reach the respective office of Sub Divisional Officer through Speed Post / Registered Post only. No other mode will be acceptable.
On the envelop containing the application, it should be clearly written - "Application for the post of Block ASHA Facilitator".

4. Self attested photocopy of Computer knowing certificate.
5. Self attested photocopy of Voters Identity card / Aadhar Card as proof of residence.
6. Proof of Experience, if any.
7. Certificates as proof of SC, ST, OBC-A & B, Ex-serviceman category issued by competent authority, wherever applicable.
8. A recent passport size colour photograph without cap, borkha or colour glass is to be pasted on the application form.
9. Two standard size (22cm x 10cm) self address envelop.
