ISRO Driver Recruitment 2018 for Ahmedabad, Benguluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Srihorikota, Thiruvanthapuram in -
Light Vehicle Driver (LVD A) - Total 50 Posts (UR 27, OBC 15, SC 7, ST 1).
Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD A) - Tootal 76 posts (UR 47, OBC 21, SC 7, ST 1).
Staff Car Driver (SCD A) - Total 2 Posts (UR).

Pay and Allowances:
Selected candidates will be appointed as Light Vehicle Driver / Heavy Vehicle Driver / Staff Card Driver in Level 2 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of Rs.19900 per months. More allowances will also be applicable.

Age Limit:
Candidates required age should not be more than 35 years as on 28.08.2018 (40 years in case of SC / ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, against posts reserved for these categories).
Central Government employees, Ex-serviceman, Widows Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried. Meritorious sportsperson are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt of India orders.

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have passed in Class 10th / SSLC / SSC / Matric examination from recognized Board / Institution.

For LDA-A & SCD-A - 3 Years experience as Light Vehicle Driver and must possess valid LVVD licence and Public Service Badge.
HVD-A - 5 Years experience, out of which 3 years as HVD and must posses valid HVD license and Public Service Badge.

Selection Process:
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not autoomatically make candidates eligible for written test. Initial screening will be conduct to shortlisted candidates for taking up written test. The written test will be conducted on 26.11.2017 at Ahmadebad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The call Letters for Written Test to the short listed candidates will be sent only by e-mail during the 2nd / 3rd week of November 2017.
based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for skill test, depending on the number of vacancies notified, the scheduled and venue of which will be notified.
The written test consisting of Four (4) Parts -
Part A (50 Marks) - Questions based on Motor Vehicle Act.
Part B (15 marks) - English.
Part C (15 marks) - Arithematics .
Part D (20 marks) - General Knowledge.

Passing Marks & After passing examination:
Those who secured minimum 50% marks in Part A and minimum 50% marks amongst Part B, C and D combined will be considered for shortlisting for Skill Test (Driving Test). Skill Test will be purely go-noo-go basic and marks obtained in the skill tests shall not be considered for selection.
The skill test shall be evaluated on a 100 points scale with minimum 60% for qualification.
The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely on the scores based on written exam. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be  done in the order of marks obtained in the written test, subject to number of vacancies notified. In case sufficient number of SC / ST / OBC / PWD / Ex-serviceman candidates are not available for filling up the vacancies reserved for these categories, relaxation will be extended to candidates belonging to the respective category, to make good the short-fall.
