Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:
Deputy Commissioner - At least a second class Master Degree and B.Ed or equivalent Degree. 5 Years regular service as Assistant Commissioner.
Assistant Commissioner - Masters Degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks and B.Ed or equivalent Degree. At least 3 years experience in the posts of Principal.
Administrative Officer - Graduate and 3 years experience in supervisory posts in the administration.
Finance Officer - B.Com with 50% marks in the aggregate and at least 4 years post qualification experience in the Audit and Accounts works / M.Com with 3 Years Experience.
Assistant Engineer - Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University and 2 years experience in design and engineering in concerned branch or 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute and 5 years experience in concerned branch.
Assistant - Graduate with 3 years experience as UDC in Central / State Govt. / Autonomous bodies / Public Sector Undertaking.
Hindi Translator - Masters degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level or Masters degree of aa recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
Upper Division Clerk (UDC) - Graduate with 3 years experience as LDC in Central Govt. / State Govt. / Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertaking. Knowledge of Computer Application.
Stenographer Grade III - 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Skill Test norms, Dictation 10 mts 80 w.p.m and Transcription 50 mts (English) 65 mts (Hindi) on Computer.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) - Class 12th pass or equivalent qualification from recognized board or university. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer. Working knowledge of Hindi. Knowledge of Computer Application.
Librarian - Bachelor degree in Library Science or Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution. Working knowledge of Hindi & English.
Candidates required age should not be more than 50 years for Posts sl. no 1 & 2.
Candidates required age should not be more than 45 years for post sl no 3.
Candidates required age should not be more than 35 years for Post sl no 4, 5, 6 & 11.
Candidates required age should not be more than 30 years for post sl no 8.
Candidates required age should not be more than 28 years for post sl no 7.
Candidates required age should not be more than 27 years for post sl no 9 & 10.
The cut off date for determining various eligibility criteria will be 31.01.2018. The maximum relaxation in upper age limit will be as under -
For SC / ST category - 5 years.
For OBC category - 3 Years.
Women for the post of Librarian - 10 Years.
KVS Employees - no age limit.
Person with disability - 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC / ST).
Persons ordinary domiciled in the state of Jammu & kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 - 5 years.
Application Fee for the post of Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Administrative Officer is Rs.1200 for each post.
Application fee for the post of Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer, Assistant, Hindi Translator, UDC, Stenographer, LDC & Librarian is Rs.750 for each post.
No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH and Ex-serviceman categories. Hence the steps for payment of fees will not applicable to them in online application form.
A candidate may apply apply for more than one post is he / she is eligible and desires to do so. In such cases, the candidate will have to pay the requisite fee separately for each post and as applicable.
The candidates have to pay application fee online through online mode (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking etc). There will be not be any other mode of payment of application fee. In case a candidate deposits the fee in any wrong account or thorough any other mode, KVS will not be responsible for non receipt of application fee.
