Details of Posts and Vacancy:
ITBP Constable (Driver) Recruitment 2018 in Total Posts of 134 Posts. Details of Vacancy Break up is given below -
Total 134 Posts - UR 47, SC 68, ST 5, OBC 14.

Age Limit:
Candidates required age should be between 21 to 27 years as on 15th March 2018 (Candidates should not have been born earlier than 16.03.1991 and not later than 15.03.1997.
The upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex Serviceman and other categories of persons in accordance with the Government orders on the subject from time to time.

Educational Qualification & Experience:
Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institution or equivalent.
Having a valid driving license (Transport) for Light or Medium or Heavy Motor Vehicle with overall minimum two years experience in driving.

Physical Standards:
i. All Other States and Union Territories (Except category mentioned below) - Height minimum 170 cms, Chest 80 cm (Unexpanded) & 85 cm (Expanded).
ii. For candidates falling in the category of Garhwali, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the State of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh and Ladakh Regions of Jammu and Kashmir - Height 165 cms, Chest 78 cm (Unexpanded) & 83 cm (EXpanded).
iii. Candidates hailing from North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, MIzoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura - Height 162.5 cm, Chest 77 cm (Unexpanded) & 82 cm (Expanded).
iv. All candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes hailing from the North Eastern States as above and left Wing Extremism affected districts - Height 160 cm, Chest 76 cm (Unexpanded) & 81 cm (Expanded).
v. All candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes other than North Eastern States and Left Wing Extremism affected District - Heiught 162.5 cm, Chest 76 cm (Unexpanded) & 81 cm (Expanded).

Pay Scale and Other Allowances:
Rs.21700 to 69100 (as per 7th CPC).
The Post will carry Dearness Allowances, Ration Money, Washing Allowances as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory Allowances while posted in specified border areas, free uniform , free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowances, Free leave pass and any other allowances as admissible in the Force from time to time under rules / instructions. They will be covered under New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme.
Selection Process:
The candidates whose applications are found in order, shall be issued admit cards (online) to appear in recruitment tests. The date, time and place of recruitment test will be indicated in the admit cards. It is clarified that candidatures of candidates who are issued admit cards will remain provisional till they are finally selected. Candidates will have to undergo the following recruitment tests -
i. Height Bar - At the very beginning of recruitment process, candidates will go through the height bar test. The candidates not meeting the prescribed height will be eliminated.
ii. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Those who qualify the Height Bar Test, will be subjected to Physical Efficiency Test. The events of the PET are as follows - 1.6 Kms Race to be completed within 7.30 minutes, 11 Feet (Long Jump), 3.5 feet (High Jump).
iii. Physical Standard Test (PST) - Candidates who qualify the PET will be screened for Height, Chest and Weight measurements. Those who do not meet the required physical measurements as applicable will be eliminated at this stage.
iv. Written Test (OMR Based, 100 Marks) - The candidates who qualify PST will have to appear in written examination. Fresh admit cards to candidates, who qualify for the written examination. Fresh admit cards to the candidates, who qualify for the for the written test will be issued online by mentioning the date & venue of the written test. The written test will be as - The written test for 100 marks containing 100 questions will consist of only OMR based objective type multiple choice questions to be answered using a Blue or Black Ball pen only. OMR sheet will be signed both by the candidate and invigilator. The question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English. Pattern of question paper will be as under -
General knowledge - 10 Questions (10 Marks).
Mathematics - 10 Questions (10 Marks).
Hindi - 10 Questions (10 Marks).
English - 10 Questions (10 Marks).
Trade related theory questions (MCQ) - 60 Questions (60 Marks).
v. Practical / Skill Test - The candidates who qualify the written test will be put through a Practical (Skill) Test. Skill test. Skill test is divided into following parts - Total 50 Marks.
Application Fee & Mode of Payment:
Candidates belonging to General (UR) / OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should pay Rs.100 as application fee through online payment gateway system on Application received with any other mode fee payment will be summarily rejected. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-serviceman are exempted from paying fee.
