i. Sub Inspector (Male) in Delhi Police - Total 97 Posts (UR 48, OBC 39, SC 6, ST 4).
ii. Sub Inspector (Female) in Delhi Police - Total 53 Posts (UR 28, OBC 15, SC 7, ST 3).
iii. Sub Inspector (GD) in CRPF (male) - Total 274 Posts (UR 138, OBC 74, SC 41, ST 21).
iv. Sub Inspector in BSF (male) - Total 483 Posts (UR 138, OBC 74, SC 41, ST 27).
Sub Inspector in BSF (Female) - Total 25 Posts (UR 12, OBC 7, SC 4, ST 2).

Educational Qualifications:
Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

Age Limit:
Between 20 to 25 years as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.1998 are eligible) subject to permissible relaxations listed as below.
SC / ST category - 5 years, OBC category 3 years,
Ex-serviceman - 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.

Scale of Pay:
SI (GD) in CAPFs - Level 6 (Rs.35400 - 112400) and is classified as Group B, Non Gazetted, Non Ministerial.
SI (Executive) in Delhi Police - Level 6 (Rs.35400 - 112400) and is classified as Group C, Non Gazetted by Delhi Police.
ASI (Executive) in CISF - Level 5 (Rs.29200 - 92300) and classified as Group C, Non Gazetted.

Scheme of Examination:
The Examination will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All These stages of the examination are mandatory. Detail of these Papers / Tests are as follows -
a. Part-I Examination - Exam Date between 4th June to 10th June 2018 (Exam Duration 2 Hours).
General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 Question (50 Marks).
General Knowledge and General Awareness - 50 Question (50 Marks).
Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Question (50 Marks).
English Comprehension - 50 Question (50 Marks).

b. Part-II Examination - Exam Date 1st December 2018 (Duration of Exam is 2 Hours).
English Language & Comprehension - 200 Questions (20 Marks).

Questions in both papers / part will be objective multiple choice type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, II and III of Paper-I. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I and Paper II. Candidates are, therefore advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions. The Commission at its discretion may fix qualifying marks in Paper-I, Paper-II and any part of Paper-I.

Physical Standard Test (PST) For All Posts:
i. For Male candidates
a. Candidates belonging to Hill Area and Remote Area - Height 165 cm, Chest 80 cm (Un-expanded) and 85 cm (Expanded).
b. For all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) - Height 162.5 cm and Chest 77 cm (Un-expanded) and 82 cms (Expanded).
c. For all Others category - Height 170 cms and Chest 80 cm (Un-Expanded) and 85 cm (Expanded).

ii. For Female Candidates only
a. Candidates belongs to Hill Area and Remote Area - Height minimum 155 cm.
b. For all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) - Height minimum 154 cm.
c. All Others Candidates - Height minimum 157 cms.

Physical Endurance Test (PET) for all Posts:
a. For Male candidates
100 Meters race in 16 Seconds.
1.6 Kms race in 6.5 Minutes.
Long Jump 3.65 Meters in 3 Chance.
High Jump 1.2 meters in 3 Chance.
Shot Put (16 Lbs) 4.5 meters in 3 chance.

b. for Female candidates only-
100 meters race in 18 seconds.
800 meters race in 4 Minutes.
Long Jump 2.7 meters in 3 Chance.
High Jump 0.9 meters in 3 chance.

Application Fee:
Rs.100 fee can be paid through SBI Challan / SBI Net Banking or by using Visa / Master Card / Maestro Credit / Debit Cards.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex Serviceman eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Application Procedure:
Candidates may apply online through the website www.ssconline.nic.in.
Candidates should read the instructions given by the notice of examination carefully before filling up the online One Time Registration Form / Application Form.
After reading the instruction, candidates should move to the Registration Part and fill up the online Registration Form.
In this registration part, candidates will have to fill in basic information relating to them. On successful submission of details , candidates shall be prompted to check the details and make, corrections if any, before submitting the Form.
On submission of the Registration Form, Registration ID and Password will be provided.
Then candidates required to upload scanning documents of Photograph and Signature in JPG / JPEG format (Photograph size between 4 kb to 20 kb and Signature size between 1 kb to 12 kb).
After completing the Registration part and Photo, Sign uploading part the candidates should proceed to fill up the Online Application Form.
Then Click on Apply Online tab and filled up the application form completely.
Payment the Examination fee.
Verify & submit.
Take a print out copy of application form.
