Details of Posts and Vacancy:
i. Male Constables (GD) - 5000 Posts (Gen 2300, SC 900, BCA 700, BCB 400, ESM Gen 350, ESM SC 100, ESM BCA 100, ESM BCB 150).
ii. Female Constable (General Duty) - 1147 Posts (Gen 528, SC 206, BCA 161, BCB 92, ESM Gen 80, ESM SC 23, ESM BCA 23, ESM BCB 34).
iii. Indian Reserve Battalions of Haryana State Male Constables (GD) - 500 Posts (Gen 528, SC 206, BCA 161, BCB 92, ESM Gen 80, ESM SC 23, ESM BCA 23, ESM BCB 34).
iv. Sub Inspector (Male) - Gen 184, SC 72, BCA 56, BCB 32, ESM Gen 28, ESM SC 8, ESM BCA 8, ESM BCB 12).
v. Sub Inspector (Female) - 63 Posts (Gen 29, SC 12, BCB 5, ESM Gen 4, ESM SC 1, ESM BCA 1, ESM BCB 2).
For Constable Posts - between 18 to 25 years as on the first day of the month of application (01.04.2018).
For Sub Inspector (SI) Posts - between 21 to 27 years as on the first day of the month of application (01.04.2018).
For Constables Post - The candidate must have passed 12th or its equivalent from a recognized education Board / Institution for all the categories. Hindi / Sanskrit upto matric standard or higher educations.
For Sub Inspector (SI) Posts - Graduation from any recognized university or its equivalent. Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric standard or higher educations.
Physical Standard (For Constables Posts):
Male candidates - Height 170 cm for General category / 168 cm for eligible reserve categories as per latest existing Government Reservation Policy. Chest 83 cm (Un-expanded) to 87 cm (Expanded) for General category and 81 cm (Un-expanded) to 85 cm (Expanded) for all other categories.
Female candidates - Height 158 cm for General category / 156 cm for eligible reserve categories as per latest Government Reservation Policy applicable at the time of Advertisement.
Physical Standard (for Sub Inspector) Posts:
Male candidates - Height 170 cm for General category / 168 cm for eligible reserve categories as per Government Reservation Policy. Chest 83 cm un-expanded minimum with expansion of 4 cm (for General category) / 81 cm un-expanded minimum with expansion 4 cm onwards for eligible reserve categories as per latest.
Female Candidates - Height 158 cm for General category / 156 cm for Reserve categories as per latest Government Reservation Policy.
Physical Screening Test (PST):
Candidates equaling seven (7) times the number of vacancies in each category shall be declared to have qualified the Knowledge Test (KT).
The candidates who have qualified in Knowledge Test shall be put to a Physical Screening Test, which would be only qualifying in nature, to judge their physical fitness and endurance. The standard prescribed for this test shall be as under -
Male candidates 2.5 kilometer run in 12 minutes.
Female candidates 1 kilometer run in 6 minutes.
Ex Serviceman candidates 1 km run in 5 minutes.
i. Knowledge Test (80% weightage) - All candidates shall have to undergo a knowledge test of eighty(80) marks comprising of objective type, multiple choice question.
The knowledge test shall be of the objective type having hundred (100) MCQ question of 0.80 marks each and test shall be of ninety (90) minutes duration. While each correct answer will get 0.8 marks, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. It shall be held simultaneously for all candidates. The medium of examination shall be Hindi except where the knowledge of English language of the candidates is to be tested.
The test paper shall include questions on General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, other relevant fields / trades etc.
There shall be at least (10) questions relating to basic knowledge of computer. The standard of question shall be as excepted of an educated person having passed 10+2 examination of Board of School Education Haryana for the post of Constable and haave graduate from a recognized University for the post of Sub Inspector.
ii. Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Standard Test (PST) -
iii. Additional Qualification (10% weightage). -
iv. Miscellaneous (10% weightage) -
Fore Post sl no 1, 2 & 3 (Constables) - Rs.100 for Male candidates and Female candidates (non resident of Haryana), Rs.50 for Female of Haryana resident only, Rs.25 for SC / BA candidates of Haryana State (Male) & Rs.13 for BC / SC candidate sof Haryana State Only (Female).
For Post Sl no 4 & 5 (SI) - Rs.150 for Male candidates and Female candidates (non resident of Haryana), Rs.75 for Female of Haryana resident only, Rs.35 for SC / BC candidates of Haryana State only (Male) & Rs.18 for SC / BC candidates of Haryana State only (Female).
