RBU PG Admission in Course of:
Faculty of Arts (M.A) - Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Philosophy, Political Science and Education.
Faculty of Fine Arts (MA) - Rabindra Sangeet, Vocal Music, Dance, Drama, Musicology, Instrumental Music and Journalism and mass Communication.
Faculty of Visual Arts (MA) - Painting, Sculpture, History of Art, Graphics - Printmaking and Applied Art.
Seat Reservation:
Reservation of seats for the reserved categories of ST / SC / OBC / PWD category will be as per the West Bengal Higher Educational Institution (Reservation and Admission) Rule.
Few seats are reserved in each course for Foreign / NRI students against a higher rate of tuition fee. In case of Non availability of Foreign students, Indian students may bed considered in those seats against the same higher rate of tuition fees. For these seats, application will be invited after the admission of 2nd Merit list. Such applications will have to be downloaded from the University website by entering the system generated application form Number and the date of Birth as entered during online application for admission.
Process of Selection:
Faculty of Arts Course -
Selection will be based on H.S or Equivalent examination best 4 subject obtained mark (50 marks) & Honours or its Equivalent Examination aggregate marks (50 marks). Aggregate of the total score will be counted towards preparation of provisional merit list which will be subject to verification.
Faculty of Fine Arts & Faculty of Visual Arts -
Selection will be based on HS or its Equivalent examination Best 4 subject marks (10 marks), BA (Hons) or its Equivalent or MA or its Equivalent marks (10 marks) and Admission Test - 80 marks. Aggregate of the total score will be counted towards preparation of the provisional merit lists which will be subject to verification.

Applicant required to checked their provisional merit list on online website admission.rbu.net.in. Details of process for checking merit list is given below.

Click on Admission Tab.
Choose Course (Arts, Visual Arts, Fine Arts) Course.
Choose Subject or Click on Login.
Download Merit List in PDF Format.
Take a print out copy of Merit List (if required).
